Juneteenth Intercontinental University’s online programs have some of the lowest tuition rates among top online universities. Tuition for all undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs will remain at the current rates through August 10, 2024. Additionally, scholarships and flexible payment plans make Juneteenth tuition rates even more affordable. Typical annual fees are based on 30 credits taken during the fall and winter terms.

Tuition fees increase by 2.64% each year; however, the JIU will keep them low for two consecutive years, as reflected in the tuition tables. All other fees are adjusted, year after year, accordingly.

Notice that the following tuition cost per credit hour is discounted by 15% for full-time students. In other words, part-time students pay 15% higher.

The B.S.N.-M.S.N. dual degree program is formatted so that students explicitly enrolled in this program will earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing concurrently.


Applicable to School of Education programs only.


Intercontinental online School of Theology Doctor of Ministry students taking between 1 and 8.99 credit hours will be charged the part-time tuition rate of $1040.75 per credit hour. Students between 9 and 15 credit hours will be charged the block rate of $4,500. Any credit hours above 15 will be charged at the $1,040.75 part-time rate. Please note that the Doctor of Ministry – Pastoral Counseling is the only D.Min. Track eligible for the military discount.


The military doctoral rate only applies to Education Doctoral (Ed.D. and Ed.S.) programs, the Doctor of Ministry – Pastoral Counseling cognate, and the following post-graduate certificate programs: the Executive Certificate in Curriculum and Instruction, the Executive Certificate in Higher Education Administration, and the Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Military students pursuing all other doctoral programs will be charged the regular (part-time/full-time) doctoral tuition rates.

  • Graduation Application fee $195 (automatically assessed by Student Financial Services near the time of the Graduation Application, not degree conferral)

  • The School of Theology cap is unavailable for the Ph.D. in Theology and Apologetics or the M.A. in Ethnomusicology.
