The Bible

The Bible: Home

The Bible is the most important book ever written. It is an eyewitness account of historical events of such magnitude that they have shaped the world in which we live. Without this book, the Western world and much of the Eastern world today would be very different from the events in this book that never happened.

It is no exaggeration to say that the events related to this book are claimed by a large proportion of the people who once lived on this planet to be the most critical events in the history of the world. This book is the foundation of all that human beings will ever know or accomplish. This led directly to massive goodwill and philanthropy. Thanks to this book, great projects have been built, hospitals have been made, people have been fed and clothed, and orphanages have been created. Read More...

Academic Study

When you earn your degree in Biblical Studies from Juneteenth, you grow in your knowledge of the Bible and/or prepare to serve the God of the Bible wherever you go. You’ll practice deep analysis of Scripture, focus on how the First and Second Testaments fit together and engage with relevant scholarly ideas. Finally, reflect on how the Bible relates to contemporary life and ministry, and put what you learn into practice.

Academic Study of the Bible is a one to three-semester English or French elective course designed to strengthen students’ understanding of the Bible and its impact on culture. This nonsectarian, nonreligious, academic course integrates the study of the Bible as a piece of literature with art, music, literature, culture, and politics to understand the relationships between the Bible, society, and culture. As an English or French Language Arts elective, students are expected to develop and apply literacy skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The Academic Study of the Bible course does not need government Department of Education approval.
