About

CODCCHA knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but, most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2018, our Non-Governmental Organization realized that by working together, we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch THE CONFEDERATION OF DIASPORA AND CONCERNED CITIZENS OF HAITI (CODCCHA).

Here at CODCCHA, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making Haiti and our community better places for all. Our decision-making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high-quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

We believe all Haitians can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to apply Haiti's legend, "The Union is Strength," in a resolute way for sustainable development, both economically and socially.

Our Vision

CODCCHA has a vision of a modern Haiti: the "Pearl of the Antilles" restored.

Our Reason Being

In the associative sense: CODCCHA represents all the Haitian associations and cooperatives in Haiti and abroad to rebuild Haiti.

In the socio-political and economic sense: CODCCHA is a confederation of independent organizations aiming at a social, political, and economical alternative aiming to eradicate extreme poverty in Haiti. The movement wishes to be part of the reconstitution of Haiti's state system.

The association also wants to reorganize Haitians living abroad into a strong community both economically and politically.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Form a public-private partnership with the Haitian State to:

  • help build Haiti's development infrastructure, including

    • transport

    • energy

    • water

    • digital

    • government services

    • resilience, and

    • green infrastructure.
